1 v 1 Evasion: Swerve
In a grid of approximately 20m x 20m, defender starts 10m up the grid along one side, while the attacker starts in the middle of the the bottom part of the grid. Because both attacker and defender are equally spaced to use the grid, attacker must check the defenders angle by swerving in, then accelerating away on the outside.
Key Points:
Recognize situation where swerve is appropriate, i.e. defender has an angle and you still have space outside to attack
Swerve to check the defenders angle
Accelerate around the outside and score in the corner
